Premiered on Tuesday, March 11, 2014 at Leone Cole Auditorium in Jacksonville, Alabama at the JSU Play and Film Festival.

Screened at the 17th annual Sidewalk Film Festival on Saturday, August 29, 2015 at the McWane Center in Birmingham, Alabama.

Released on Tuesday, December 2, 2014.

Griswold the Elf is a 2014 short film by Austin Lovelace and Holy Visage. The short film was directed, written, and edited by Austin Lovelace. It stars Austin and Hayley Lovelace. The video was filmed in Austin and Hayley’s home in Southside, Alabama on Tuesday, December 31, 2013. Chloe Cardwell served as camera operator for the short film. It was announced by Holy Visage on Tuesday, January 7, 2014 via Facebook and Twitter. A sneak peek of the short film was released to YouTube on Monday, March 10, 2014. The short film premiered on Tuesday, March 11, 2014 at Leone Cole Auditorium in Jacksonville, Alabama at the first annual JSU Play and Film Festival, where the short film won three awards: Best Directing (Austin Lovelace, runner up), Best Overall Film (runner up), and Best Performance (Austin Lovelace, runner up). It also screened at the 17th annual Sidewalk Film Festival on Saturday, August 29, 2015 at the McWane Center in Birmingham, Alabama. In September 2015, the short film screened at locations in the Jacksonville State University area, including Longleaf Studios in Jacksonville, Alabama on Tuesday, September 1 and The Peerless Saloon in Anniston, Alabama on Thursday, September 17.
